We just redid did a bathroom with gold fixtures and I wanted a doorknob to match and found this beauty. It was easy to install and gives the room an added flair. It is a nice, heavy knob, and bigger than your typical door knob. It also sticks out further, so be aware that it may dent your wall a bit because it sticks out further than the door stop that we installed. I'm very happy with this purchase.
I bought nine of these to replace the aluminum levers in my house with something more decorative that a cat can't open. They went in where the prior doorlatches did just fine.The problem I ran into was that the bar that connects between the two doorknobs that goes through the latch mechanism didn't fit in 3 of the nine without being filed down a bit. I think the hole in the latch mechanism was too small, but filing the bar was easier than enlarging the hole, so I took that route.Some slid through just fine, others had some resistance, but 3 wouldn't go through at all without being modified.That said, I really like the design of these doorknobs, the mechanism is very sturdy and well built. Other than that one thing, the fit was just fine.One other niggle was that two of the knobs had something sticky on the paper protecting the crystal doorknobs that in one case had dried onto the crystal and in another had dried onto the brass. It took a fair bit of soaking and rubbing to remove the paper and the sticky stuff. The factory needs to be more careful about contamination with whatever that was, because once it sits for any length of time, it's practically glue.Again, I'm very happy with these now that we're past the minor problems with installing a few of them.
Love my door handles . They look so expensive . Great value for money . Cant comment on how easy they were to install because i got the doors done professionally . The lock mechanism seems to work so far. Would buy more if I was changing my other doors
LOVE IT. Even my kids helped me. All I needed was a small screwdriver. Definitely use allen wrench to take off knob so you can screw in easier.
These doorknobs are classy and elegant! How durable these are will have to be seen but they are impressive!Update: after three months of light to average use, no problems with the knobs on both doors. Seen several reviews where the knobs have tended to come loose, but so far I have not seen this happen with ours
